Club member Richard Rosling from Kingston-Upon-Thames is selling his 1951 series 1 Wolseley 4/50 and 1953 Morris Oxford Series MO.
We understand both cars start and the engines run. The MO is driveable but you must assess this for yourself.
Reading between the lines, the 4/50 is probably classed as a project.
Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures as Richard does not use the internet (at all), so please contact him on 0208 549 6860.
Details as follows:
1951 Wolseley 4/50 in black. This car has a 1622cc engine (ex-Sherpa van, but petrol – I assume this is similar to the B series engines fitted to the Farina cars); and a Riley 4/72 gearbox. Apparently the gearbox needs a small amount of attention. Brakes have been done. The interior is patinated, Richard says that if you want condition 1 you’ll need to re-cover the seats. Asking £1k
1953 Morris Oxford Series MO in black. This has a 1500cc B series engine (from a Wolseley 1500) and the original MO gearbox. The interior is patinated, Richard says that if you want condition 1 you’ll need to re-cover the seats. Asking £3k
PLEASE DON’T CONTACT THE CLUB ABOUT THESE CARS, ALL WE KNOW IS WRITTEN ABOVE!
